The art of paper cutting is one of the oldest and most beloved forms of Chinese folk art with roots stemming from auspicious honor to deities and ancestors. Though steeped in tradition the art form today is used as a more decorative display of intricate skill and craft.

Join us at the Chinese American Museum DC on Saturday, May 7, 2022, from 10 am – 11 am to learn more about the art and try your hand at Chinese paper cutting.
